Delete Your Account

You can delete your Sparkplate account at any time. Here's how, and what happens to your information.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Sparkplate and sign in.
2. Go to your Profile, then Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm both prompts. Your account is deleted right away and you'll be signed out.

Delete your account by email

If you can't access the app, email support@sparkplateapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, photos, dishes, and account details
• Credential documents submitted for verification
• Your location settings

What may remain

• Reviews you wrote may stay visible with your name removed, so other users' review histories stay accurate.
• Messages you sent may remain in the other person's conversation.
• Safety records, such as reports and suspension history, may be kept for a limited time for fraud prevention and legal reasons.
• Deleted information may remain in secure backups for a short period before being overwritten.
